We've teamed up with Bay Area Parent and other local businesses to present something very special for Mothers this year. The Honoring Mothers Contest is a fantastic way for you to salute any mother you know who is consistantly putting the needs and wishes of others before her own. Write in and tell us about her!

If we select your essay as the winner, the mom you've nominated will win a full day of services at The Spa (facial, massage, body treatment, hair cut and color at AQUA salon), a $300 gift certificate to Bettina's fashions and a $125 gift certificate to Cafe California! Two runners-up will get gift certificates for a massage or facial. And, just so your efforts are rewarded, the winning nominator will receive a gift certificate for a massage or facial!

Just because there is one grand prize winner doesn't mean that all the mothers nominated aren't deserving of recognition. So, on May 1st, we will invite the first 75 nominees and a guest of their choosing to attend a wonderful celebration just for them at The Spa! A special evening for invited guests only to enjoy gift bags filled with spa products and special discounts, a fashion show by Bump Maternity and Bettina's Fashions of Los Gatos, and delicious wines and cheeses.

Hair Talk with Lana: Changes

With every season comes change, and there is no way to avoid or escape it. One definition of change is to make or become different. When was the last time you changed your hair style?
